Sample pack of Putange Type Mole Traps.  We have put together a pack of 2 coated and 2 uncoated putange type mole traps (plus 4 stainless steel triggers), made by us in Yorkshire.

Following fantastic feedback from our group of testers we have made some alterations to our first drawings. This is the second version of the French Putange type trap. Made from 5.5 mm mild steel.

Two traps have not been given any coating. They will rust over time, which is what some molecatchers have asked for.

Two traps have been shot peened to give the steel a slightly rough finish. They have then been given a yellow passivated finish  which will prevent the zinc from corroding and increases the overall protection of the finish. This finish provides a rainbow or iridescent appearance.

Setting forks are not included.
